Selalu Bagus began in the water.

What started as a shared love for surfing quickly turned into something more, a connection to the people, the culture, and the everyday moments that make South Lombok so special.

Between waves, friendships were formed, stories were shared, and the local sayings that echo through the lineup became part of the experience. “Selalu bagus,” meaning always good, became more than just a phrase. It became a feeling. At first, it lived through simple things, t-shirts, stickers, small pieces that carried the energy of the ocean onto land. But over time, that feeling grew into something bigger.

Today, Selalu Bagus is a space where surfing, community and lifestyle come together, a place to learn, to connect, and to be part of something real.

We’re not trying to be the biggest surf school in Gerupuk, and we don’t want to be. We keep groups small on purpose, and we built the Surf Experience around real progress, not a fixed program you have to fit your trip around. We’d rather you leave with real friends and real progress than a stamped certificate and a blur of a week.
